Olive Cottage originally functioned as the orchard irrigation pump house, and the head of the well, where donkeys once hauled up the water, still remains. Whilst retaining original features, the property been carefully converted, restored and modernised. The oak beamed interior of the cottage is airy and comfortable, decorated in a simple Mediterranean style featuring antique pine furnishings and traditional Turkish kilim rugs. A private enclosed garden of orange, mandarin, lemon and grapefruit trees surrounds the cottage, and is planted with fragrant flowers and herbs. The stone paved terrace with divan seating and cushions offers cool shade and overlooks the inviting splash pool. A dining area beneath orange trees is perfect for al fresco breakfasts and barbeques.
